Some are easier to "tame" than others. The only way to do it is by handling. It takes time and patience though. There is no miracle overnight cure. Make sure when you are picking him up, you always do so from underneath. Don't try to just reach in and pick up from the top. They will think you are a predator and try to run away and maybe even bite you to get away. Put your hand in the bottom and scoop him up. Make sure you aren't making any sudden quick moves when you pick him up either. Slow and steady movements will keep him more calm. Handle him as much as possible and he will get used to you.

well the fastest way to tame a bearded dragin is to handle him everyday. the more you hold him the tamer he will be when you want to hold him. i have 2 of them and when i got them i rescued them from my local shelter and they were not tame at all. they tried to bolt away, jump out of my hand. but i never let them go and after having them for about 1year they got better. i have had them all my life and i use to do rescue for the shelters to get them out of small enclosures that they would be placed in at the shelters. so the best way to tame yours is to hold everyday and through out the day and he will be more tame as the days go on. good luck

if its a baby -it will be much easier to bond with you-holding and using slow motions will help either way. in Jesus amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. John 3 repented and born again

get it out & handle it. not for ages because u don't wanna stress the little darling out. maybe twice a day once in the morning before he heats up too much so he's still a little sleepy & once later maybe before u go to bed.
Good luck, i'm doin the same thing with my babies at the moment!

handle it as much as possible but you will not tame it like a dog. most beardies do not come, sit etc. they can learn their names do not expect to much. I say this because you use the word tame.

Hold him everyday. Don’t flinch or jerk back, when he moves or tries to bit if you do this it will freak him out more.
