I would wear a color that fits in with the prom theme. You'll be glad you did when you look at the pictures 20 years from now. Everything will go together. If that doesn't work for you, go with a color that really looks good on you. You'll be looking at these pictures for many.many years,

A Nice shade of gold looks really good under the lights. A sexy black dress that shows the curves or the girls it depends on what you want to show.

A black dress with some small colored embellishments and/or details, navy blue, or other dark colors are always classy and in style. They definitely stand out as more elegant and sophisticated in a field of indistinguishable pastel colors.

i would say.. light baby colours.. like baby blue. you're going to a prom, not a funeral, so though black is a safe colour, it's not gonna make you stand out from the crowd.

Depends on your skin tone...what looks best on you? I wore a satin deep rich blue to junior prom and a light powder blue to senior prom...I looked stunning. (I have brown skin).

Black! Simple, chic, slimming, looks good on everyone. Also, Red.. because not many people do it! Just keep in mind red can make you look larger. Dont shy away from white, as long as it doesnt look like a wedding gown either!

any color is good as long as it suits you-goes with your skin-one year i wore pink one year blue and one year black
