Is there any way to MOD a white Japanese PSP so it can play North-American videos and games?

Or something similar to that?

I know that all PSP games are region free.... I meant the UMD movies!

Actually, PSP games are region free. So you can play them on Japanese PSP.

However, UMD movies are not region free. However, you can rip videos from US DVDs and put them in your PSP.

i didn't know that was only going to be released in japan.
bummer.
oh well i still got the old black one and don't have any problems with it
