i really want to get into college gymnastics, preferably Iowa Statte Cyclones, but i am worried that i am not going to be accepted in 4 years for the team because i am not quite a high ranked gymnast. Should i continue to work for this or go onto cheerleading?

I'm 14 and just stopped gymnastics at level 7 because I am injured. I think it's great that you want to go into college gymnastics :D You may want to take a couple of privates here and there when there is a skill that is causing you trouble and that you are not progressing through as quickly as the others. If you keep working hard and and continue to excel you'll proboaly have a chance at collegiate gymnastics. Just stay with it because alot of my older friends in gymnastics have quit because gymnastics took too much of their time, so stay with it and I'm sure you'll be ready! Good luck.
