I have heated the oven to high a few times to try and get rib of the smell but it wont go away!!!

Put a pan of lemon juice and water in it on 400 for about 30 mins.1/2 cup lemon juice to 1 cup water.This also works to remove odors from microwaves

Vinegar works but vanilla essence or extract will give a beautiful smell of home baking and will eliminate the bad smell again will also do the same for microwaves

Ewww! I've had this problem too, it seemed like everything I cooked had a slight taste for a while. Yuck! I'd like to know the answer to this too.

Wipe it out with vinigar and water.
