You may not be getting into that REM stage of sleep, which is really not good for you. That's when your brain gets both rest and exercise at the same time.
If you're really tired during the day, or get aches and pains, try going in for a sleep study, maybe that's your problem.
Otherwise, lots of people don't remember dreams, sometimes it can be depression that causes a lack of dreams, or they might be boring dreams that your mind chooses to just throw out. (which is why most people only remember the REALLY exciting parts, or the part just before they wake up).
Hope this helps!

Dreams take place during the REM (rapid eye movement), and they can last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. This cycle also takes place several times during a night, which may make it more confusing to discern which one is which. When you wake up, a lot of the surrounding stimuli ( alarm clock, light) can distract you. A lot of people don't remember them, but if take the effort to recall them before you move or open your eyes, I'm sure you can do it. I hope it works out!!

If you want to remember your dreams; keep s tape or digital recorder by your bedside. When you wake up spend 10 - 15 seconds describing your dream into the recorder.

most people can't, but it helps if you wake up, and write them down.
