The past few days I have been getting headaches like I have never had before. I think they begin when i cough or sneeze. And most of the time they are accompanied by extreme tiredness and weakness. I have never had heahaches like this in my life. I have tried tylenol, it doesnt even seem to phase it. Is there anything else i can do? Has anyone had a problem like this?

The headaches may be a sign of toxaemia. This is a serious condition which can occur later on in pregnancy. It is often accompanied by swelling of the legs and too much protein in the urine (you need a test to detect this). Other causes of a severe, unusual headache include a subarachnoid haemorrhage. This is a bleed around the brain.
I would strongly advice you to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Both these conditions are extremely serious. Toxaemia of pregnancy is dangerous to the baby as well as to the mum.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Sounds like preeclampsia-- I think it's urgent enough for you to go the ER or make a DRs appointment for the first thing in the morning. (I believe pre-eclampsia can be life threatening to you and your baby....and it's common to show up in the late stages of pregnancy.)

I started getting headaches like that when i was about 30weeks pregnant. Was told they were "normal" and were migraines or cluster headaches.
Talk to your Doc. she/he may be able to prescribe something to help. Also watch what your eating... i found mine always came on when i ate nuts.
when you feel lone coming on try drinking something with a little caffeine in it... seems to help me.
good Luck.
