What places just outside of Yosemite has cheap bus trips in and out of the park?

I might move to the Oakhurst or Mariposa area. I know about the yaurts bus from Mariposa to Yosemite but are there any buses from Oakhurst to Yosemite? What is the pros and cons in living in Oakhurst or Mariposa and other areas next to Yosemite?

I know from many years ago that there were tour buses going to Yosemite from Merced, but I don't know if they are still there or pick up more passengers in Oakhurst or Mariposa.

The biggest drawbacks to living near Yosemite are driving in the snow, huge amounts of traffic, and road closures like due to the landslide a year or so ago.
