If you really want to open them up and make your eyes "POP" try these tricks:
Apply black liner to the under side of the upper lash line starting from the outer corner, working towards the middle. To do this - Hold your top lashes up and work a soft pencil or creme liner into the lash line.
Next, apply 2-3 thin coats of mascara to your top lashes only.
Lastly, if you have the time (and the skills) apply either individual lashes or 1/2 a row of false lashes to the out edge of each eye.
Do this and you will be Rockin' Chick! GOOD LUCK!!

Practice & make sure you use a good quality eyeliner that is the right color for you. Blonds/redheads want lighter browns, brunettes want dark brown to black for day time wear. Also you can get white eyeliner & line the inside edge of your lower lids. That gives the illusion of bigger eyes

the easiest way to learn is to buy an eyeliner brush and use powdered eyeliner until you get the hang of it, then you can move onto liquids, which give you the most precise line. I am a cosmetoligist and EVERYONE asks me how to do it. Personally, I think the powder is prettier and sexier because it is not a severe line.. it is smoky, which is perfect for day or night. At night just add more, for a more intense look.

if your eyes are small then darker colors may make them look smaller, however this isn't always the case. If you are having trouble drawing there are two things you can do.
1.loreal makes a super thin, tiny eye liner i believe its called micro liner. it comes in black brown and green.
2. pull on the outter corner of your eye lid when you apply the liner. this will help you draw your line.
tips, use brown for day and black for night, and don't let the liner touch the outter corner of your eye, it will draw them down.

I would recommend buying an eyeliner pencil that has the smudger on one end. I just bought Lancome's Le Stylo and i have to say its the best eyeliner i have ever used.
Because it has the smudger, all you need to do is draw your line on top (doesnt need to be perfect) and then smudge it so its smooth. Its so much quicker than trying to draw a perfect line, and isn't as harsh as a liquid liner.

Well i also have smaller eyes and putting eyeliner on top definatly helps!! NO JOkE!
It took me a while to get the hang of making a straight line, but once you get it down you will love it!!
and it also depends on what type of eyeliner you use.. like a pencil or liquid.

well you`re not really supposed to put it as a straight line, it`s kinda supposed to trace the lash line... & for your hair color and eye color you should try a dark brown liner instead of black, because it might look too harsh. but hey whatever floats your boat!

Anna, a good liquid eye liner will help. Start from the corner end of your eye and stop in the middle of your cornea. You'll have to hold or pull the corner of your eyelid slant to get a perfect line. :)

nicely, it truly relies upon on what sort of eyeliner you employ. maximum severe is prepare. i'm not kidding. I used to positioned on eyeliner each and all the time at domicile on the weekends in simple terms so i ought to prepare. pencil: i don't use those you sharpen, in simple terms the twist ups. i constantly initiate on the internal nook of the attention and in simple terms draw as on the factor of the eyelid as accessible. pencil is fantastically hassle-free, that's not that complicated liquid: the comb for my liquid eyeliner is thick on the backside and then tapers on the top. so, i place the eyeliner brush flat against my eye and then i push the eyeliner brush against my lid, elevate the comb, and then push it returned. like a series of linked dots, if that makes any experience. this way makes it possible for an line it truly is calmly thick. i've got additionally found that in case you pull the outer nook of your authentic lid out to the facet (form of make ur authentic lid into "asian eyes") it flattens the lashline out so all you're able to do is draw a on the instant line and once you enable bypass, the eyeliner is interior the sahpe of your eye for the outer nook i many times in simple terms bypass away my eyes open and draw yet my ultimate suggestion, is in simple terms prepare. oh yea, and positioned some lotion on a q-tip to the ultimate option any errors

Putting it on top will make your eyes bigger. Just use a q-tip or a smudger to smudge the line a bit and that should make it so you won't have to do such a striaght line.
