Nope. No one has the balls to kill an adorable little polar bear. Nature's way or no, cute things are difficult to kill, it's their defence mechanism.

Survival of the fittest, obviously there was some instinctive reason the mother left the cub. I saw a video in Science class about the Galapagos Islands that showed a mother bird not protect the odd one out since it was weak and the mother knew it was going to die. It's a simple process called Natural Selection or "survival of the fittest", Humans are the only species on the planet who can intervene with this process,

I dont think this bear will die at this point. I went to the article and it seems like the cub has gotten past the point when it would have been ethical to let it die. I understand the point of view by the activist but I myself think we should try to save all animals in need. The zoo should have found out why she abandoned them. Was it just becasue she was an inexperianced mother.
