They already have names......they're called neon tetras. It's kinda silly to name a tetra.

A neon tetra? Neons are schooling fish, that need to be in groups of six or more. As for names...
Jewel
Sparkle
America (just needs a little white, though)
My sister keeps bugging me to name my eight danios. I keep telling her I can't because they all look the same. Smaller schooling fish are difficult to name, cause they're difficult to keep straight who they are.

How many Neon Tetras are you going to buy? They live better in group of, say maybe 20, and they all look alike..
How are you going to differtiate them? Let alone name them? Maybe buy 26 pcs and name them from A-Z.

Tetras are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of no less than 5, preferably more than 5.
So if your just adding a small fish to small or overcrowded tank, don't buy them.
