ok i get that its not for me to figure out for him i just wanted to know if im trippin because i feel like i should know him best were together all the time...an i am unsure of his situation i just need a better understanding.

Hi there. It's simply a look, so it really doesn't mean anything if you think about it. We're all human beings, and looking at other people is part of life. Lots of straight people look over at other people of the same gender; it's part of establishing ties. It's not like your friend is walking up to women and chatting them up, asking for their phone numbers. It's a harmless look, and you can't really read into these things too much.
