It's the same side of the moon you see at night. The reason you can see it is that the light that reflects off the moon is brighter than the ambient light scattered by the atmosphere. The moon is above the horizon at daytime 50% of the time. That is, half the time you can see the moon it will be daytime and half the time you can see the moon it will be night time.
When the moon is visible during the daytime it is closer to the new-moon than the full-moon.
The moon revolves around the earth. It takes about 28 days for the moon to go all the way around the earth once. The moon is also spinning around its axis. It takes the same amount of time to spin around its axis once as it does to revolve around the Earth. Because of this 1 to 1 ratio, the same side of the moon is always facing the Earth (with a little wobble).
This was not always the case, in the distant past (hundreds of millions of years ago) one side of the moon did not always face the Earth, and the moon was also much closer to the Earth as well.
Also, note that the Earth currently has only one natural satellite: the moon (also called Luna).

We can see the Moon in the day time because it is bright enough. We cannot see the stars in the day time because they are not bright enough. There are always stars in the sky, even during the day time, but we just can't see them in the daytime. The Moon is in the sky half of the time, and on average half of that half is during daylight. Because the Moon orbits Earth at a different speed than the Earth orbits the Sun, the Moon is sometimes in the sky during the day time and sometimes not.

The phase of the moon is the same no matter where you are on the planet.
That's because the phase is dependent on the angle between the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth.
Yes, you can see the moon in the daytime.

The moon is so close to us, we can see it in the day or the night so long as we are facing it correctly at the time. It rises and sets just like the sun.
