I have guppy's and frogs inside my freshwater Aquarium. Will my frog eat the Guppy's eggs?

I have two frogs, and 2 Guppy's and many other freshwater fish. One guppy is about to lay eggs. Will my frogs eat them?

Guppies are live bearers. I have been told the moms will eat thier fry, to date I have never seen it happen and I have bred alot of guppies. Get some nice plants for the fry to hide in and everything should be fine.

Other fish will eat the fry if they can catch them, so cover is a must if you want them to last. The frogs are normally to slow to catch them.

For plant cover I like Java ferns, java moss and other large leaf or fine leafed plants.

What kind of frog is it? I had 2 african clawed frogs in my freshwater aquarium and YES the did eat my fish. The didnt at first but when the frogs got larger the sure did eat them. here is a tip.... my brother fed the frogs his left over worms from fishing and they grew HUGE. If i were you i would get another aquarium and seperate the frogs from the fish or get a divider. becuase the frogs will eat the fish.

well since guppys don't lay eggs they are live bearers the frogs won't eat the eggs they might just eat the Fry though, you might want to get a breeder net or breeder tank ( small plastic section piece that will fit onto your tank so its in the same water but the fry are separated from the other fish.

hey buddy. guppy's don't lay eggs. they are livebearers. it is not good to keep frogs with freshwater fish because they're urine is can be toxic to the fish population. as far as frogs eating thr fry's i would think frogs eat bugs in the wild so they might eat the fry's

Guppies don't lay eggs...They have young born alive. But, they will eat those. So will the mother guppy.

You need to go to the petstore and either get another container for the mother, and some grasses to hide the babies.....or get a baby "trap" to protect them.

You Bet they will!! Frogs not only eat flys.. In fact, they will eat almost anything they can out into their mouth!

In Mexico, there's frog that eat Rat!! I used to feed my Corn-frog with smaller feeders' frogs...He always finished all of them..
