Did you have any food you had to throw away? Did your animal get sick? Do you know someone who was affected by it? We have fed our cats iams before, but thankfully everyone here is ok.

i work at a petstore, and have seen many recalls before, but not one that affected so many different brand. non of those i would feed my cat or dog but still...what shocks me most is that this company (menufoods) KNEW about the problem since the beginning of february and tested their product on poor cats and dogs until mid march until doing anything about it. oh all the cats and dogs died by the way. all i know is i am NOT recommending any company that makes food throught menufoods anymore! oh and they also sent out a newer recall....so i wouldnt use any of the products ever again.

No, Thank GOD, my cats weren't affected by the pet food recall. I usually get the cat food from No Frills here in Ontario which is a branch of Loblaws.
No one I know hase been affected either THANK GOD.

No thank God. I would have sued the **** out of the company if they had killed my babies, i hope these people get some kind of settlement out of it. it wont bring them back, but at least its something.i find the rat poison from china thing very disturbing, they say they dont think it was foul play, but i find that very hard to believe.

I wansn't affected by it, but a friend of mine was. Her dog's in the vet in pretty bad shape. The dog's kidney's were failing, but last I heard the dog was pretty stable.

Sad stuff.

No. I've been feeding my dogs Pedigree for many years. I felt sorry for those affected though. Nothing seems safe anymore.
