They are R01, R02 R03 etc with also a "sample" file and a "sub" file, whatever they are??

Please answer in plain english as I am new to the computer world. But i would love to do this for my neice

All help is greatly appreciated

u have alittle work ahead of u
first off...the r1 r 2 r 3
them are RAR FILES
]u need winrar to open them
http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250-10007677.html
now go to the first file.....right click it...selct ...EXTRACT HERE..it will then extract all the files from 1 to whatever....u will then see a video file.....that is what u have to burn
BUT
IN ORDER FOR U TO HAVE SOUND AND PICTURE...
u are gonna need codecs
here are the 3 u will most likely need
nothing more
divx for windows.....while installing..it will give u option on what to install....select codecs only unless u need or want divx dvd player
http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/
now u need
ac3 filter.exe
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ac3filter
download the EXE FILE
now u need
xvid codec
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/xvid.cfm
now u will have sound and picture for damn near all file types
now all u do is burn it to disc with ur dvd software
one last thing....if u extract them and it is not a video file..and instead it is a cue/bin file
then u will have to use 1 more program to open that kinda file
u would need something caleed
poweriso
isobuster
magiciso
something like that
or a newer version of nero or sonic should open them

A good link where you can get winrar is: http://bit.ly/1t6dcCg

You can use winrar to unzip zip file and loads of other formats. A few more programs you can use are 7zip or winzip but I still beleive winrar is the best choice. They work pretty much in the same way: you can compress or decompress files easily with a right-click.

The big advantages of Winrar are: it's free (it's available under a trial version that never expires) and can open all the formats: .zip, .rar, .7z / 7zip, .iso, .tar, .jar etc.

That's why I strongly recommend winrar.

It looks like this has been RAR'd. In plain English RAR is just like WINZIP but a different brand. If you dont know what Winzip is or have never used it then this might be a little more difficult but doable.

Download and install "winrar" here -> http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250-10007677.html

After you install it, one of the files should end in RAR, double click it and extract the contents (aka the movie) wherever you would like. (It is important that all the files be in the same folder when you do this).

You may also need to download and install the divx codex to watch this if it doesnt play right when you double click on the movie. www.divx.com, download and install but pay attention because they try to install some crap like google toolbar too, just take the check marks out of the box for installing extra crap, all you need is the codec. (It will make sense when you install it)

Also you might not want to be so public about pirating. Just some friendly advice.

I hope this helps.

You need to download a compatible DVD compiler.

after your RO1 or 2 or whatever it should say (for example) RO1.exe or RO1.wmv (exe is a start up file and wmv is windows media file)

So when you now what they are type into google as an example if you have wmv on there put in wmv dvd compiler

find one download it and then read the help file and that should tell you what to do

if you can't find what your looking for it's probably because your not looking in the right place, as in you've just typed it wrong or something!

:-) hope this helps

Hey,
You can download Winrar here http://bitly.com/1p3PQHZ
The best program to decompress files is Winrar, you can unzip all kind of files!(.zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar, .cab, .gz, .ace, .uue, .bz2, etc...)
Bye Bye

You need to "unpack" the files!
There SHOULD be an EXE or BAT file included, run that file to unpack the files.
