That's cool. Good advice. Yes the brain is a muscle like any other I suppose it can be developed...I never thought you could "become" a genius. I thought geniuses had to be born (like Mozart writing concertos at 4 years old). We may not achieve genius status but we can certainly improve our mental abilities. Actually, speaking of Mozart I've heard that listening to classical music actually boosts intelligence...

The brain is a delicate organ!!!." the brain is a muscle" is a figure of speach its not literally but figuratively and metaphorically ONLY. you can also be a genius and not be creative! creativity only helps when you are solving a problem or trying to invent something. being creative and a genius the best kind of genius yes. you can make your brain function better too by being healthy and taking care of yourself and also by simply learning and repitition.I dont think you should try to interpret gates and buffet either... so far you have been wrong on two instances. einstein didnt have a good memory had to relearn how to feed himself. ibelieve.
YOU especially need to NOT have free from works just yet i think.

I've known this a while. It's been going on for a very long time. It's easy to be perceived a genius. You only need a few things. And because I'm so very philanthropic, I will cite my works so the ambitious can actually acquire these skills. To be seen as genius, is simple.
Be very very good at the small petty things. For example:
Ambidextrousity - (Simple Practice)
Short Term memory
(The dominic system - http://www.memorymentor.com/dominic_system.htm)
(Loki Method - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Method_of_loci)
Be very fast at Mental math: (Simple practice)
Vedic Mathematics -

Be very Persuasive (Look into Mentalism, perhaps Hypnosis)

I recommend making a serious habit of it to learn as many languages as one can in their lifetime. Best done through active practice with another patron. Observation of how people talk in a language, and mimicking that. It's opposite of the genius formula, but it's how we learned to speak english as babies. It's the best way, for when you try to think it out for yourself, you end up saying things in ways that the words are not usually said in, and you don't make sense. So in essence, to properly be a genius, Do everything backwards, and strive for a result that is exponential to the usual.
Think outside of the box, do things in new ways. Especially for things that seem natural to be done one way due to social standardization. People get mad when you do something they don't think you should be doing. They like things to be consistant and predictable. Little do they know that if everyone was as mundane as them, there would not be the diversity in this world that stimulates creativity. And that's not at all well. Truly everyone is already a genius in their own right, as long as they remain true to themselves and original in their ideas.

There's only one way to exercise your brain, and that's to use it and challenge it in ways you haven't before. Studying philosophy is a good start, but so is yoga and meditation to calm your body + mind. You go to the gym to work out your body; this is what's needed for your mind.
Now if you want to be an applied genius like Gates and Buffet, etc., then you need to know at least some disciplines or areas of business to which you can apply your genius. So this is more than analytical skills required, but also a canvas to work your mojo. This requires having actual knowledge and experience in solving real-world problems in some field. For Gates, it was software; for Buffet, it was the financial markets; and for me, it was Donkey Kong.

Taking Omega 3 pills increases the number of your Grey cells.
Also es, you can train your brain by developing new connections in it, every time you find an answer to a question that you did not know before, you make one new connections, the more practice you have, the easier (faster) the process will be. But to be a genius? Hmmm, I doubt that.

By practical definition, genius is the state at which things that are difficult or arduous to the average person come easily. Therefore, genius is just someone who does things effortlessly. If you had to strain to achieve a particular intellect, it would not be genius because you had to work at it. Genius is just a thing.
Oh and by the way, you spammed this question. I should report you.

I once heard that the definition of intelligence is not knowing a lot about one thing, but knowing a little about a lot of things. I suggest all you need to do is become an information junkie.... read, listen to all points of view , learn from books, newspapers, magazines, TV. Stay open to new ideas, and not be afraid to try new things..... and don't hold your own opinions to closely because somebody else might have a better one........
