So today marks the 5th (and a half) week since I've missed my period. (Feb. 13th was last day of period) and I went into Planned Parenthood for a pregnancy test on the 14th of March, but it was negative. I asked why I didn't get it and why the test was negative, and I was told it was because of stress...but I'm not stressed. So far, the only symptoms I have, are nausea (some days), headaches, sore breasts, and I've gained some weight. I was also on Depo since January of 2006 but I stopped on the third shot (I was supposed to get a shot in September I think), and I had my period, although irregular. Any questions on what's up? Should I see a Doc?

I would definately take another pregnancy test...sometimes they come up negative even when you are pregnant. It sounds like you have the symptoms. If you have insurance then yes....go see your OB/GYN. If you aren't pregnant then they will give you hormones to get your period started. Also, there are other things that can keep you from starting your period. Depo will mess it up, increase in excercise...many things. #1 though is pregnancy...good luck! : >

Yeah, I would see a private OB/gyn and stay away from Planned Parenthood. They're not the best. They kept checking my friend and having her come back for more and more tests and they missed the real problem. Go to a real doctors office.

I think you should go see a doctor. Maybe you were pregnant and miscarried. Maybe the Depo really messed you up. I'd go see a doctor asap.
