I get annoyed by it, but I'm one of those people who try to spell everything correct--because I'm out of that phase of making up cool words. I went through that phase when I was young too. For example, I remember when I was in 6th grade and I would write notes to my friends (yes, writing notes was our version of texting!). I'd start my notes out with:
Hi Melissa!
I wuz just
D
R
O
P
P
I
N'
in to say hi!
Now that was the **** back then. All the girls wrote notes like that.
I'm not sure if we can limit this way of writing to just teenage girls though. I've seen people in their late 20s write like your example too.
