you mean it wasn't before? I rarely watch TV, but hubby and son have it on all the time.

The television is one of the most amazing inventions we have today, however what it is being used for is terribly sad. These days it is mostly a hypnotic advertising device. I do not often watch tv these days, the last time I was able to actually sit down and watch tv was the last episode of 'heros' awhile ago.

something about the T.V going on in the background when im doing something

just soothes me, into feeling that im in complete silence

I gave up TV about 18 years ago - it's just mindless dross and they charge you for the privelidge of recieving it.
