It went kind of like this. Springer told everyone his shows were all real. The City of Chicago told him if it was real, they would send cops over to arrest the brawlers, or he could admit it was staged by paying for an entertainment license like a wrestling promoter would. Springer said no license, it's real, no cops please. Chicago said here come the cops. Springer got the entertainment license. You decide if it's real or not.

Some people will do anything to get on TV. Jerry Springer scrapes the bottom of the barrel. That's where the scum is. I've never seen a whole episode. I would rather clean the toilet than watch JS.

It's all part of the show; I think there is a cue where they start and stop fighting. Besides, if Jerry let them get put in jail, his cash cow would be slaughtered real quick.

I don't think they're actors. I think they are just trailer trash that enjoy the free trip to wherever he films his show (don't know where that is). But honestly it's like a free vacation to these people. They make fools of themselves for 30 minutes then do what they want.

To me their all actors I mean seriously you have this big problem where your husband cheats on you with you sister or mom(ewww by the ways)and they basically want their problems and screaming to be on live tv where millions of people can watch.

I'm not sure. I would think half the stuff on that show is set up anyways. Atleast it seems like it.

most of it is poor actors and mentally challenged rednecks so they probably are in a deal with the cops, meaning none of it, except the hits, are actually real.
