I think it's because when you have time to tune into the Internet, you check your e-mail, maybe check your IM, check a few web sites, there's time to kill and you hit eBay. You start searching for this and that, and before you know it, it's impulse buying...I have to have to have this...it's such a great price...and you go from one item to the next. It's as addicting as chocolate! I've found some fantastic bargains, and been burned, too.

I don't see how it is. Everything is not cheap like how people say it is. I went on it twice and the prices were higher than a store. I guess it could be addictive if someone loves shopping so much.

Because you can find anything there and it's usually cheaper and in better condition then the local option...
