The question should be why are you so interested? Crime shows are fascinating for most people because people want to understand how people can do those things and how they think. It can be creepy but its entertaining.

I have not a clue. Feminist baffle me, that is why I no longer call myself a feminist. They will get upset over a rape scene it if involves a woman but could careless about the man that was just blown up in the previous scene, or even a man that was raped. Feminist want to end "Violence Against Women" but could careless what happens to men. A man could get shot every single milli-second and they could care less. It is only when it is against women when they shout to the roof tops.
If people want rape scenes out of movies then all violence needs to be taken out of movies. Rape is no different than any other crime that occurs.

Perhaps there are women that have been quiet about personal issues/situations that have happened in the past and this is a way to help them get past it or find a way to keep it from happening again. It's difficult to speak about rape. And a life affected by murder is a changed life. It may help to find out they are not alone.

Women do not like those shows because it plays on the fear they feel every day. We understand that their are sick men out there that want to take advantage. Men usually don't know what this feels like. There aren't many other men that will just "prey" on an innocent man for no reason. A deranged man will prey on innocent women. For this reason, when the sun goes down, women outdoors everywhere walk a little faster, clutch their purse a little tighter and become more observant of their surroundings. Men in this situation just act as they normally do. That is why women do not like these shows. They are scared enough already, why make it worse with sick shows?

Women are so crazy about those shows b/c somewhere in that show it usually teaches you how to prevent what happened to them example some strange man comes up behind u and give u a bear hug around the waist to grab u, u try and loosen ur arms and elbow him in the nose.

I think it is like people who horror movies. To be raped or murdered is one of my greatest fears. And so, I am morbidly fascinated with these movies. Actually, I only like the murder ones. Rape ones are too scary for me.
