Those are Pentecostal Churches. Try Presbyterian, baptist, or non denominational. Good luck!

No that is definately a sterotype. There are Baptist churches that do speak in tongues. I'm Baptist and there are people who speak in tongues. But I will say that there are Baptist churches who still kind of get "scared" of speaking in tongues. Also you guys are getting caught up in DENOMINATIONS! Speaking in tongues is biblical. It's all throughout the book of Acts. But most denominations like Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist believe that tongues don't exsist and that it's over with, but it's not true. They still do exsist. The Holy Ghost is real, and he will continue to fill us. I'm surprised of Christians who have never heard of speaking in tongues!! Do yall read yall bible, or do you just skip over the parts that seem scary or not relevant to you?

Baptist churches aren't the only ones. I'm an Orthodox Christian and we don't speak in tongues ^-^.

I don't think Catholics do either, but thats something i have to double check.

Why would you want to find a church that doesn't teach the truth of the fullness of God's spirit? You can't argue with Acts 2:38 and if a church teaches that then you are pretty much on track.

there's a present day of tongues , and no each physique would not acquire the "present" besides the fact that the info of the indwelling of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues. It grew to become into prophesied interior the e book of Joel and it got here approximately interior the 2nd e book of Acts on the day of Pentecost. it extremely is the only info of being born of the Spirit. keep in mind Jesus stated to Nicodemus "different than a guy be born of the water and of the Spirit he won't be able to enter into or see the dominion of God." it extremely is the non secular rebirth.you may no longer do it on your very own. it extremely is via the fact the Spirit of God supplies utterance. Paul stated what he stated because of fact he knew the importance of being full of Gods Spirit. it extremely is the way you comprehend, the rest is of venture. this happens while a guy or woman is extremely repentant.
