I'm sure that you could sink ten pints of jellied eels, couldn't you, matey? I once had 13 pints of Guinnes and fell over backwards. Pure Genius! Never considered being a politician, though.

He was bragging to make himself look like a man of the people. Perhaps not the right image to project in a binge drinking culture.
