some females don't understand whats good for them...stuff like pop or preppy punk or rap, they don't realize that type of music is slowly rotting away their brains....it also some girls are too chicken to listen to screaming or fast guitars....which is stupid to me. cuz I'm crazy about heavy metal...then theres a last point...some girls are just STUPID and BLINDED by Britney Spears' shaved head.

because metal is dirty and loud and most girls don't like that. It hurts their feminine sensibilities or something.they want cute and pretty like Justin Timberlake. I am not one of those girls. I like metal. I really think that rock/metal in general is testosterone fueled and created by men and that scares off a lot of the ladies. I don't think the vast majority of people probably listen to metal nowadays anyway as it is not too fashionable. Again, not one of those people, but just making a point.

i dont know but i do! my first experience was twisted sister. i enjoy slayer and pantera, stuff like that. i really got into the hair bands back in the day. all of my friends were into new kids on the block... YUCK! I am a huge metallica fan! to this day i only have one friends that really gets into the metal. we are a rare breed. my husband enjoys the same music as well. last june we went to a slayer concert in cincinnati. it was great!

I believe that is a false presumption. I know quite a few females that get into Metal....Have you ever listened to House of Hair? Now thats Metal all the way.......

I like the the music...the instrumental...but I'm not a fan of the yelling...it's hard for me to understand

The reason is they don't comprehend the lyrics... and thats a very sad thing.. they don't know what their missing.
