what do girls like, because people say i should be mean to girls and treat them like dirt, but i never do that cause it just feels wrong, I like to treat girls like girls, am I wrong, do girls like it when we are mean?

Don't be mean. Girls like to be respected and treated with consideration. We like to know our guy is going to be there when we need him, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

I think the intrigue behind that notion is the "bad boy" archetype:
--Doesn't give 2 craps with other people say, do, or think because--dammit--he's gonna do what he wants. He'll wear a black leather jacket and drag race on the Harley he's been restoring. And even though he's rough around the edges, he treats a very special little lady like a princess.
Every person (or females, as it applies in your question) wants to be someone special. The bad boy scenario fits that.
That's really all you need to do. Don't be a "bad boy", be a nice guy. Find that person and make her feel special.

You already know the answer.... it feels wrong because it is wrong. Nobody wants to be treated like dirt. Girls want to be listened to and they want boys to notice the little things that make them special. Listen and talk and they will like you.

No it is not wrong. It is good to treat someone the way you want to be treated. It will pay off in the long run believe me. Don't listen to your so called friends you be a leader and set an exaple how to treat a lady.

mean as in a fun teasing kind of way, like a challenge to pursue. girls do like that. everyone likes that, they like the guessing game does he or does he not like me? its always more fun that way. but you gotta be careful you can't be a real jerk, you gotta know the fine line between teasing and just being mean
