What did Justin Guarini do during the first season that got him some negative publicity? While watching American Idol Rewind, I heard Simon refer to something Justin did that wasn't as bad as what other famous people do...soo....What'd he do?

During one of the first weeks of the Top 10, after Simon criticized him, Justin said he only cared what America thought, yadda yadda yadda. After being in the Bottom 3 the week following, Justin apologized to Simon for being disrespectful. It would be considered nothing now (there's been a lot worse said about the judges by contestants the past few seasons), but the show had just started, so it was made into a bigger thing than it was.

maybe not being able to sing in the first place. i'm still trying to see how he made out of hollywood,let alone the top 12. i didn't start watching until the end.so can't answer what he did but he can't sing.

He threw a big crybaby fit when Kelly won instead of him, but other than that, I am not sure.
