The British monarchy is a form of government in England where a king or queen
represents the country to other overseas countries. The type of government that England has is constitutional monarchy. The Parliament is the only branch of government who has the power to pass legislations since the reigning monarchy, or the sovereign, had lost his or her political roles. The monarch, however, is the head of state and the head of nation where he or she acts as the “focus for national identity” and to express his or her pride and unity towards his or her nation which he or she represents. Moreover, the sovereign stabilizes and continues the role of the British monarchy; this duty is necessary for the monarch to be carried out to his or her people because it is the reasonable way to keep the country well-balanced. The monarch is also being acquainted with success and excellence of his or her people and assists charitable services to the public.
