I was thinking about betting my friend to go on an intense ride and if he comes back with clean underwear (no accidents or vomitting) id give him 10$. But before doing this, i want to make sure that its realistic that someone wet their pants or throws up from an intense ride.

Also, if you arent too embarassed to provide proof (a time when you or someone u know had an accident on a roller coaster (please name the coaster)) please add that as well. Also, if you have a link to any site confirming or denying this myth/statement/fact, please attach it.

If you eat or drink before the ride then you can vomit or even peee your pants.

Possible, but not likely. Most likely is vomit, especially if a meal has been eaten recently. Urination only if you are scared out of your wits - not probable. Certain coasters might make you dizzy and unsteady right after getting off. Goliath at 6 Flags Magic Mountain did this to me. I almost fell over. I have been on lots of coaster and the biggest and nastiest - never had an embarrassing problem like that.

Yes it is possible. Even on some smaller size (in hieght) coasters you can get some serious G-Forces and that can send you equilibrium off and cause a variety of body malfunctions. Actually most and ride can.
I am a mechanic at an amusement park and I can say first hand knowledge lots and lots of poeple lose body control in many ways. Most it is upset stomachs and dizzy spells but a few have peed their pants. Hope this helps.

It is more likely to become nauseated on a roller coaster than wet your pants. If you have eaten a large meal, or drank a lot water before hand, and you're not accustomed to the roller coaster you are about to board, you may become nauseated.

I think it is a different reaction depending on the person. I am petrified of heights but i went on the Great Canadian Minebuster and got off of it with no embarrassing moments yet my brother put me on a ride that was somewhat like a ferris wheel swing and I screamed like an idiot and within 5 minutes being on the ground I puked for another 10 minutes!

It is true indeed. I see a few people come off of Scream at Six Flags Magic Mountain, puking and peeing...it is funny and sad at the same time. I myself, have never thrown up, eccept when I am sick with the flu, and I have never peed from a coaster...lol

if you video a roller coaster a few times and then play it back slowly you will probably see two or three people throw up. I have never seen wet pants, but i guess its possible.

Ok, I'm embarrassed but yes, an intense rollercoster made me pee my pants when I was a teenager. I have been to scared to ride one since.
