I have had a HUGE problem with ants. For the most part they're black ants, but there's a LOT of them. They recently invaded my bathroom, me waking up to find a swarm on my counter...I'm seriously freaking out, and I don't want them in my kitchen, either! >_< Help!!(P.S. I've tried some stuff....like vinager....but they always come back.)

Sprinkle cinnamon around the exterior walls of your house. Ants hate the smell.

once a week spray bleach around your house where the ground meets the house. I have done this and it works. the bleach dries out the ants when they eat it. it desolves with the rain so no problems. also keep a very clean house, kitchen, bathroom and then they have no reason to come in.

I have the same problem. This is a recipe I have been given, although I haven't tried it out yet.

1/3 cup of each Borax, brown sugar, breadcrumbs. Add enough water to make a stiff paste. Mold into small blocks.

I wouldn't leave this where our dog could get it.

I have used cucumber peelings. I don't remember where I learned about them. They don't look very nice lying around, but try putting some out and leaving them there to dry out. If it works for you like it did for me, keep putting fresh ones out for long enough to convince those ants to stay away.

Take a pile of sugar and place it by the window, let the trial increase as it goes outside. And place a decent pile of sugar on the outside, this will keep them busy outside and close the window on them. Good Riddance. ;)
