but the one running windows 2000 professional is locked out to me.how do i bypass it so as to use the compter?

on 2000 pro without a password ur screwed. there is only 1 way and that is to reinstall your operating system. there is no other way possible!!

I just had this problem a few days ago and the other person is correct. After calling everyone I knew including Mircosoft, the only option you have is reinstalling and starting all over. Lots of luck to you!

You can log-in as Guest if it's active.Username: Guest Password is usually blank. If it's not active, you have reinstall it.
