It would be the end of humanity. In geography class my teacher recently shown the class about a movie bassed on what the world would be like if we did go into that war with russia. Nuclear bombs and everything u can imagine was in that. If you did survive the nuclear bombs the radiation would soon kill u off. (radiation is just like cancer except 10 times faster) Good Question!

Well that is a very good question if the worlds country's build vaults like the ones in the fallout serious with plenty of food they would just need the radiation levels to die down enoghf that we could leave the vaults and it would be another bloody chapter of our species history because mutants would be most likely everywhere and there would be new army's proboly

It would be the end of current civilization but humans might survive as a species in remote areas as the nukes would target places with high population density.

I believe it would be the end of civilization as we know it. Major cities and government facilities would be likely targets. This would eliminate a huge portion of the human population, the manufacturing facilities and transportation hubs vital to any sort of recovery would be gone and governments would be left without any central command post (at least temporarilly). Throw these factors in with telecommunications being crippled and lethal environmental devestation, say good bye to civilization as we know it.

interesting thaught. for one there would be too much radiation so our bodies would not be able to handle it. but in some remote areas they might not be affected immeadiatly and can possibly slowly adapt tho the changing enviornment. so the major cities are screwed because they would be major targets. so there is a possibility we can survive it but then all that would be left is anarchy.

I, of course, don't really know. However, what I imagine happening is something like a MAD MAX movie. Toward this end, let's all keep a year's supply of food and water on hand, seeds to plant crops, tools, weapons and ammunition.

We always think that we are more powerfull than we are. Our nukes can't destroy our planet or our species. We can't change the temperature on Earth or Mars, though they are changing. I could use a little global warming about now.
