A couple of weeks ago I was in a Toronto court asked the same. The bastard (clerk) said no. He said I should pay a big fee (over hundred dollars) to get the certificate. People are talking here about divorce decree which I don't know what is it or if it is free. Of course, in here you can get everything for a fee. Court is designed to collect the frees.
Next time don't enslave yourself.

no u don't get a certifacate for your diveorce. u will both recive papers from the court at the begining of the divorce ,awhole lot more during it, then at the end the courts will give you papers called a divorce decree, then you outta there.

no it is not a cetificate like an award although it should be, it is a legal document on legal paper and is not framable.
