our mouse had babies 4 weeks ago and last week one escaped while i was cleaning the cage. i thought it was dead but i saw it yesterday and its impossible to catch. I seems that it is too smart to fall for the traps. what should i do?

Eventually it will fall for a trap if you only have food in the trap... and no bits of food anywhere else to eat. Clean house and you might find it hiding in a closet or corner or under some furniture. Have something handy to put it in since it may bite now that its had a taste of the 'wild' life.

you should put a live mouse trap( a trap that won't kill the mouse) along a wall and put peanut butter in there and it will attract it, it might take a while but eventually you'll catch it. Best of luck!! don't hurt it.

They all fall for the catch'em alive traps. A little peanut butter inside, When they step in the trap rocks shut.

Put out food and water and watch. Eventually he/she will need to drink and will know the water is safe. Its just a matter of time.
