Let me juxtapose the question in regards to its hypothetical nature. Which people, rich or poor, are the most susceptible to hypnotism?

Opinion - The rich, they have more problems they wish to escape from.

Anyways, many poor people have Irish heritage and Freud said "The Irish are the only people impervious to psychoanalysis". That could spill over into hypnotism. Even if a poor person is not Irish, all poor people act kinda like Irish poor people do. That's just an opinion though. I'm over a third Irish, so I'm speaking with a quasi-authority. i think both rich and poor are equally susceptible to outside influence on the one hand rich people are influenced by trends and the media and such whereas the poor are influenced by their situation its just a question of the haves/and have nots

Probably rich people.
A higher percentage of poor people deal with liars and con artists on a regular basis, so they are resistant to brainwashing.
However, individual factors enter in also.
