ummm let me just tell you that this is going to be a very long answer

stretches you can do:
butterfly position, splits, lunges, pilates, and yoga.

butterfly stretches:
just in case you didnt the butterfly position is when your legs are both bended and form a diamond shape in front of you
all you do is hold your feet and get your head as close to the ground as possible and you can also use you hands to push down your knees so it will be closer to the ground or you can bounce your legs while in the position and push down whenever you are bouncing downwards.

splits stretches:

side split stretches:
1st stretch:take a thick book and put it down on the ground then put one of your feet on it and go down into the splits position as far as u can and hold it there for like 2 minutes and switch legs.then do it without the book.
2nd stretch:put one leg straight in front and the other leg fully bended and try to touch your foot that is straight and hold it for like 1 min then switch legs.
3rd stretch do the splits as far as u can down and hold it for 1 or 2 mins and switch legs.
4th stretch:if u can do the splits then hold your front foot for 30sec-1min then sit straight and bend your back and extend your arms backwards and do it with the other leg.
5th stretch: do lunges

middle splits:
stretch:do it as far down as u can and hold it there for 1 or 2min and rest for a few minutes and do it again.

high kick stretches:
1st stretch:put your foot on the wall or a bar and face your foot/leg and reach to your foot then move your body to the side still have your foot/leg on the bar/wall and reach you hand that is farther from your leg/foot to your foot and switch legs

2nd stretch:put your hand on something strong or a bar and kick your leg (high kick) up as high as u can about 10 times then switch legs

you can also do some back bends
and you can bend forward to touch you foot

classes you can take:
jazz : it is faster and more fun but it also teaches technique and many stretches and warm ups.
ballet : ballet is very good for technique and have good stretches and extensions with the arm neck and back.
gymnastics: this will make your arms stronger and will stretcher your back and stomach you will also learn how to do flips and jumps.
tumbling: this helps you a lot with strength you will learn back flips fronts flips and many more
it also makes you more flexible but very tiring this uses your hands arms stomach legs and back a lot.

I am a dancer and I know that flexibility is key. Try this. Sitting down, pull both feet into your body as far as you can, like you are doing the butterfly, but do not flap your legs. Push your knees down with your elbows. Practice this often. Once you can get your knees all the way down to the floor, pull them in even farther and keep trying. If you have your feet in all the way and you can get your knees to the floor with little effort, try puting your head to your feet. It is almost as hard as trying to learn how to do a split, but this exercise works so much flexibilty and in so many muscles. Good luck!

I suppose alot of splits and even just stresching can make you so much more flexible. Do this a little everyday and you'll be flexible before you know it

Try sun salutations. There are many versions, but here is a link to a basic site to get started.
