With the determination of gaining a leader ship in orient not doing smart or innovative thinking but backing up Al kaeda, selling missiles to Hamas for unprovoked atacks against Israel, with a total disrespect for the most common sense, for second time making a pitiful parade of power in TV with soldiers, a president that already before had been 8 years in war with Sadam H, increasing the linching of women acused of adultery up to 300 per month... for the atomic bomb and probably to back up an atack with dirty bombs, refereing everyday irespectfully and in the racist way agaisnt "the west", calling "pigs" to us the Christians... 1. There is no evidence that Iran is backing Al Quaida.
2. Hamas does not consider its attacks against Israel unprovoked since, from its point of view, the Jews invaded the Palestinian homeland.
3. There is no evidence that Iran has an atomic bomb.
4. There is no evidence that Ira is lynching anybody.
5. Christians have no inherent right to respect, no more than any other group or person. You have to EARN respect. Telling people that have lived with their religion for thousands of years that they're wrong because the Christians disagree with them isn't very respectful towards the Iranians, either.
6. War is always avoidable. A war with Iran is a war that the US cannot win and ought to avoid.

Not for the above, because it is unlikely congress will approve the funding for a war to take place. Of course if they do then unaviodable, yes. A war will knock Iran back many years, and then it will again be an issue for another american president to deal with in subsequent years. It depends upon what congress does.

Yes. If our president was smarter he would try to make a deal with Iran. Iran is just using nuclear energy to convert it into electricity.
