I watched the England game tonight, and I didn't see any commitment from the England team. With England I saw:
1) a lack commitment
2) no passion
3) they thought Israel would be a walk over, they just had to turn up and they had won
Scotland completely changed when Walter Smith took over from Berti Vogts, Smith rekindled the passion, the want to play for their country. To be honest, I don't think Steve McClaren is the right man for the job. I think somebody like Alan Curbishley should have got it.
I only saw the highlights of the Scotland game, they could have played better, but they have the passion and the will to win, and I'm proud of my country tonight, topping the group. Let's see what Italy bring on Wednesday.
It's not the fact of being in what you think is an easy group or a hard group with world class teams, is how you play on the day.
Look at when Scotland beat France 1-0 last October, that was a day to remember, not something we see very often, but the Scotland team always have the Tartan Army behind them no matter how good or bad things get. The tough times just a few years ago with Vogts, we were still there and look where we are today in the top 20 in the world. It's swings and roundabouts.

Problems lie in
1)Manager - he is ginger (scot at heart mb?) seems like george bush - somebody pulling the strings!
2)therefore poor squad selection - gerrard proved today he can't be playing for england with that mediocre performance
3)Why english players play better in premierleague they get payed 10x or 20x times more than scots!!!
4)the top scorer in that team is franko ))) and everyone slags him off )))
cmon andorra i reckon 0-0
