Oh..and if you want a nice view of the lake while relaxing or getting a massage..check this place out...I dream about going back here...YUMMY

I would suggest spending at least a day at Barton Springs make sure you call ahead of time to see if their open or closed sometimes they have a random schedule.

Heres a cool idea check out Barton Springs and then head over to 6xth street to check out some live music.

If you time it up right and Monte Montgomery is playing in Austin on 6th street you need to see him perform.

Also, you have to go to the Saltlick BBQ house. It is outside of town but it is absolutely the best food in Texas

I agree w/ the first two answers. My personal favorites are the Capital, Bob Bullock museum and the LBJ Library. The Bob Bullock museam and the LBJ Library ALWAYS have really cool exhibits going on. Don't forget to stop by Amy's Ice Cream on Burnett Rd., its a great place to take the kids (if you have any).
