Yes of course, they are out there waiting for you. I have a theory on soul mate so I will paste it here as my answer, and you will understand how I feel.
I tend to think that each one of us has many soul mates. A soul mate is not someone whom you are destined to have a loving sexual relationship with. A soul mate is another soul that is intertwined with yours, you may be only friends, you may be sisters and you may be lovers. A soul mate is someone whom when you talk to them you feel as if you could tell them anything and they would not judge you, someone who loves you unconditionally as god would. Usually you will know when you have met a soul mate because your soul will tell you that 'there is a connection here'. When you meet a soul mate again for the first time it should feel as if you have just rejoined a loving companion after a brief intermission so that now you can pick up where you left off the last time you were together, whenever, wherever and whoever you might have been before.

To be honest, I really don't know. It hasn't worked out that way thus far! It would be nice, being able to walk through life with one... but if that eventuality never arises, I don't believe in discounting the "Now"... what 'is' in this moment. Keep looking... one thing I do know is that there are all sorts of love out there, and they all teach you something...

logically no, but emotionally yes. The guy I married is pretty much everything I could want in a mate, except for the excessive football watching and arrogance, but no ones perfect. I can see myself with just him forever.

Not really. I think there is a set of values and personality traits that you look for and if you're lucky you might find one with all of them.

aww, honey....I believe there is more than one person out there that can make us happy. BUT I think we each have ONE other half that ONE person that completes us, and some of us are lucky enough to find that other half. It took me 33 years to find mine don't give up, sweety....I didn't think I would find him either.....when you do....NEVER let go ! Fight for him if you have to...

Yes, I believe in that, I have met my wife and we are both agreed we will be together forever..... we do everything together, we are more than husband and wife, we are best friends who hang out together all the time....
