Just curious to hear about your favorite memory of an event or something that you have from your marriage.

I have a few of them myself that I can rank as my favorites.

1. My wedding day.
2. The day we found out my wife was pregnant with our oldest son.
3. The birth of our oldest son.
4. Finding out, and the birth of our daughter.
5. Finding out and the birth of our youngest son.
6. Renewing our wedding vows last summer.
7. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary last Aug.

Those are just a few for me.

Looking forward to seeing what you all have for favorite memories.

I just want to say that you seem to have the same sort of dedication to your wife as I do my husband. I think that is awesome. There should be more of us great people in this world :P

To answer your question, I hope it is OK that I number things also since you did. :)

1. He tracked down my grandmothers long lost rocking chair, something that I loved dearly. He had it shipped to us from California. (Where my grandmother had moved and had to leave it when she moved away from Cali.) He did it all in secret. It meant so much to me.

2. He plays with our legally deaf son, makes him laugh ALOT. (He is 5)

3. Finding out we were going to have another baby. (6 months along almost :D)

4. The wedding.

5. We've been married only four months, but he was my first love, my first kiss, my first EVERYTHING eight years ago . Also the best. (skip some crap in between time :P)

6. Two years ago, I think he decided he was going to set some goals for himself. One was he wanted to loose x amount of weight. I never thought that he needed to. Well today he looks amazing, he sets out to accomplish what he's going for. He doesn't give up.

7. This isn't really a memory but something I love, he kisses me the second he wakes up, and kisses me probably twenty times when we go to bed every night. Never fails.

Thank you. :D Have a great night.
Kristy

I suppose my favorite memories are not as profound as the birth of children. (since we don't have any) But I have a few that are special to me.

1. When we renovated a house together, all by ourselves. I remember sitting with him on floor boards with some greasy burger/fries taking a break. We were both covered in sweat and grime. He never looked more handsome to me.

2. We were in Paris, France in '02 for a week in the spring. We had some terrible jet lag and couldn't sleep. We took a walk (hand in hand) in the wee hours of the morning. The streets were deserted (in general), it was drizzling rain (very light almost like a mist), it was quiet, peaceful, and extraordinarily beautiful. I was so happy and I felt very lucky to have that moment with him.

3. We were in Honolulu, HI in '05 for a week in the winter. One evening we were holed up in our hotel room overlooking Waikiki beach and it was POURING rain. We had the balcony door open but the rain wasn't blowing in. We were having dinner on the bed (subway sandwiches) and playing gin-rummy in our skivvies. I loved him and was grateful that he braved the weather to get dinner, even though he looked like a drowned rat when he got back.

Those are my top three favorite memories with my husband. Little things happen all the time, but those are the big ones.

Well its not really from our marriage but its how it all started. I was a single Dad and had full custody of both my children....a boy who was 6 years old...and a girl who was 18 months old at the time. I had wanted to ask my now wife out....but was not sure how she would feel about such young kids being with me 24 7....she has three girls but the youngest was 10. After much thought I figured...what do you have to loose....well when she found out about my youngest she was thrilled and BOTH my kids loved her....it was then I knew she was the one for me and that was my best moment knowing that I had found someone to help me raise my kids.....and that she loved them dearly....and they loved her. They have all grown up now except for OUR youngest who graduates this year....then its just me and the GREAT lady that I now Proudly call my wife and my best friend.

My husband was always concerned about building memories w/ his friends. After 14 yrs. I can honestly say there arn't more than 3 or 4 we have together . They r not the type of memories that r meaningful. I feel the marriage never was what it was suppose to be . Now that I've wasted all those years WE r getting a divorce. I tried to make memories but he was always concerned for his friends & himself . My needs were not important. His family was there during special times when we as a couple should have been alone alot of times & now its gone. We lost the most important thing about us . It was "US " together . Not THEM> He never saw that . Time to move on!!! Someone eles was always more important than me!!! the times we should have concentrated on "US" he was concentrating on his friends & family!!!! I forgot to mention: "her "the other woman!

for me it was the time we went over to her parents house to visit but the car wasn't in the drive or garage so we got busy in the living room, her mom walked in and saw us, she immediately turned around. later i asked her why she was blushing, hadn't she ever seen a pair of cheeks wit no eyes before.
