Because he committed a crime broke the law and had to do the time.

Well, first, you've gotta tell us why he went to jail.
And, he probably disobeyed the law, or he did something in the past, or he was drinking and driving, or he did drugs, robbed a store, buggery, and so on.
And if you think that he doesn't deserve to be in jail, think again. The police took him to jail for a reason.

Apparently you are NOT a child asking this question,so as an Adult why don't you ask yourself. Better yet,ask your "daddy's" Attorney or the Prosecuting Attorney,or better yet,check the court records. Good luck

well i dont know honey but i know how u feel my mom is in jail she is on drugs my dad did drugs and drank over much!!! he ran got cold feet sooo never met m dad you just never ask your self " was it my fault" because it wasnt!!!!
