James Mikely Mantell Posey, Jr. (born January 13, 1977 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing small forward for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association. Posey attended and played basketball at Chamberlin High School in Twinsburg, Ohio. Posey was selected out of Xavier University by the Denver Nuggets with the 18th pick of the 1999 NBA Draft. He played a little over three seasons with the team before being sent to the Houston Rockets in a three-team deal also involving the Philadelphia 76ers on December 18, 2002. He then joined the Memphis Grizzlies, and is currently with the Miami Heat.

Don't trust everything the answer two above this says because their link is from Wikipedia. I know that James Posey was born in Clevland, Ohio. He is currently six foot eight and weighs 217 pounds. Posey went to college at Xavier and was drafted in the NBA in 1999 in the first round of the draft at eighteenth pick. He was drafted by Denver Nuggets, since then he played for the Memphis Grizzles and currently plays for the Miami Heat. Posey is #42 and currently plays as either a guard or a forward as of March 24 he averaged 7.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
