You can be 45 and fertile or 20 and infertile. Statistically, age has some bearing, but we are not merely statistics.

Chart your temperature and use ovulation predictors. I bought them from early-pregnancytests.com because they're really cheap so you can use them for a larger window each month.

Also, go to your ob/gyn for a yearly workup and for advice on testing. You might have a minor problem causing big issues. An underactive thyroid can cause fertility issues (trust me, I know).

Are you doing anything that might compromise your fertility? Drugs? Alcohol? Too much caffeine?

And not to insult your intelligence, but do you know how everything works? Example: My sister-in-law told me her neighbor had been trying to get pregnant for 3 months (which is no time at all in TTC time, by the way) but she refused to let her husband touch her when she was producing a lot of CM ... she wore tampons to absorb. First of all, yuck. second of all, that is her fertile time! No wonder she cannot get pregnant. And this woman is a teacher! She should be able to read a book or website, if nothing else, right?

Good luck and baby dust!

It can take up to 1 year to get pregnant and that will depend if you were taking birth control. I have been trying for 9 months and I am still not pregnant. I was told by my doctor that you only have 3 days after your period to get pregnant. It is a very small window.
If you are not pregnant after 1 year than talk to your doctor. Don't stress about it because stress can make it harder to get pregnant. Have fun with it and don't worry! It will happen.
