im going to a new school next year.(ill be a freshman). does anyone have any tips on how i can easily fit in and make friends?

Don't try to "fit in". At this point.. no one fits in!! Everyone will be as nervous as you on the first day. Remember: those you make fun of today may be those you will work for tomorrow. Just don't be conceited, stuck-up, a jerk, or a lazy student. Say no to drugs, alcohol, and idiots. You will be just fine...smile at everyone and remember names!

Watch what the other kids are wearing, listen to what they say, and add your own little tid bits of information.
You'll get in just fine.
Oh, and if you're uncomfortable with strangers the first time, ask your friends from middle school [if they're going to the same high school] to stay with you.
If they refuse, they're just not good friends, and you're better off without them.

Be polite and friendly to everyone. Smile a lot. Be sweet. Wave. Try to introduce yourself to as many people as possible.
