They will not play videos. They are not video iPods. That's what the iPod Video is for. The iPod Nano supports music, podcasts, audiobooks, and photos.

Nope. The iPod nano only can do things such as a slideshow of pics and play music. It only has that there cause the iPod program puts it there for all players. No matter what type of player they are. I also suggest you take your nano back and get a video iPod or something instead. I've gone through 3 nanos so far and found out that almost 95% of them freeze within the first few months. That's what mine have done. So tonight i finally got tired of it and took it back. We're gonna get the 30gig video iPod as soon as they get more in.

yes there are lot of ipods not only nano that reproduces video in mp4 format and due to the screen size the compression can be amazingly good so the size of each video is small enough to carry several and have space left to lot of music as well

nope, fairly certain thats a programming error
this is because apple uses the same interface on all the iPods, so it will show things like Movies when there really is no way to play them
