I bought a graphics card. It's a Visontek XGE ATI RADEONX1300 512mb. I was wondering if i needed a graphics card or a video card? I'm not good with all this Graphic cards n video card stuff lol. Never had to bother with them. I also bought that graphics card at best buy for $140. What did i actually need to get it to be hooked up to my Samsung 32" HDTV?

You will be able to connect the computer directly up to you TV. All you need to figure out is if you want to use VGA or DVI. Depending on what ports your TV has, DVI would be the preferred method. It wields a higher resolution. So really all you need is a DVI cable now. Here is a link to a site that explains the difference between DVI and VGA: http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html

You only need a S-Video cable.
I checked the Visiontek website and that card should have a S-video output already

You need a video card with an 's'-video out. (your's may have one)
And a long enough 's'video cable.
That's it.
