I have an infestation of roly pollies in my house. I have tried a variety of bug sprays to kill them, but?

nothing works. Can someone please suggest a way to get rid of this annoyance. I have also heard these bugs called sow bugs and pill bugs. Please if you can suggest anything or have had this problem let me know.

Getting rid of roly-pollies/pill bugs
Sowbugs and pillbugs cause no damage inside the home. They're attracted to moisture and decaying material so keep the area dry & free of decaying matter to eliminate their hiding places & food material. Try to limit watering near foundations. Caulk cracks & eliminate entry points around doors, windows, etc. Reduce water seepage & improve ventilation. Dehumidify. A heavy infestation indoors usually indicates a large population outdoors. * 1

NATURAL CONTROL

1. Dethatch lawns---Millipedes thrive in the dense upper thatch of grass.
2. Mow lawn close---This allows the lawn to dry out.
3. Remove debris--Millipedes live under boards, rocks, mulch, etc.
4. Water the yard in the early morning---This lets the yard dry before night. *2

Other natural control methods:
A) Loosely roll up a damp newspaper and tie it with string, placing it where the bugs are. During the night, they'll crawl inside. Dispose of them and the newspaper. Repeat until they're gone.

B) Set out small containers of a disolved yeast solution in the problem areas. (Boil water & dissolve two packets of yeast in a medium-sized pot ). You can also use beer instead. Outside, try to place the containers so that the brim is at or barely above ground level. Put covers like pieces of wood, over the containers to keep rain water and other elements from diluting the solution. This method gets rid of snails, rollie pollies and beatles (but not lady bugs).

Some sites say Diatomaceous earth will kill the pill bugs & slugs.

You can also try sprinkling Cayenne pepper around entrances & cracks to deter them.

CHEMICAL CONTROL
First try to target chemical applications at points of entry & areas of infestation, rather than indiscriminatingly treating large areas. Normally, for occassional outbreaks , a direct application of an aerosol spray containing Pyrethrins or Pyrethroids will do the trick. *3
The standard insecticides such as diazinon, dursban, malathion, etc. have little effect on them. "The best sprays for infestations of sowbugs are Demon WP or Talstar. Demon WP (a Cypermethrin insecticide concentrate) is a wettable powder that gives longer residual on solid objects such as your home's exterior walls. Talstar is an excellent liquid concentrate that is easier to apply if you need to broadcast large areas of flower beds and landscaped areas or even lawns. Granular insecticides (Talstar Granules or DeltaGard Granules) can be broadcast in mulched areas and the soil around the home. Delta Dust can be applied to cracks, crevices and entry points inside the home or basement," *4

If contributing conditions such as excess moisture can be controlled, it would be a great aid in Pillbug elimination. In many cases found close to flower beds, gardens, flower pots, landscaping, swimming pools, ponds or any heavily mulched area, a good insecticide spray is to be used.

In some heavy or stubborn infestations, a combination of insecticide dust and a granular product might be needed with your insecticide spray. Granular insecticides (Talstar Granules or DeltaGard Granules) can be broadcast in mulched areas and the soil around the home. Delta Dust can be applied to cracks, crevices and entry points inside the home or basement, using a crusader duster.
