Why bother with a hanky. I use my thumb. Notice the use of the verb here.......I still use spit on my thumb to clean up my daughter's (and their son's) faces. They are 32, 29, 12, 10 and 8 years old.
ALL of them squirm and complain.

Thankfully my mum didn't do that but my gran...she was a right old hanky licker. She used to send my cousins and me running for cover!

my mom would lick her finger and then wipe it on my face.
it was one of the most disgusting things that ever happened to me.
